THE LOGGIONE CHALLENGE
The Loggione frequently comments on the politically correct movement and how it is contributing to the decline of our artform. These commentaries often describe a political reform within vocal pedagogy which utilises cancel culture in an attempt to further its objectives. Recently a series of events took place which support these claims. Yesterday I learned that I was banned from Reddit. Banned without ever having used the site. This occurred after a female singing teacher using the handle of u/Training-Egg6615 posted that she had lost male singing students due to an article I published titled WHY WOMEN CAN'T TEACH MEN HOW TO SING REAL OPERA.
When reviewing
the comments of this teacher it was clear that
she was more concerned about her own loss of income than her students’ development. During her extensive victim signalling this teacher also
shared that she felt the need to remain anonymous in order to prevent herself
from being exposed like This Is Opera! who also specialised in teaching sounds they could not make
themselves.
Contained within the comment section were many unsubstantiated allegations about me and my positions, allegations which I was unable to directly defend against because Reddit would not allow me to post a comment. Later I was also informed that I had been banned from other groups where similar false allegations were being made. The reason that Big Tech has decided to censor me is solely based upon the fact that I express views which do not align with progressive ideals, one being that there are obvious differences between men and women. In my article titled WHY WOMAN CAN'T TEACH MEN HOW TO SING REAL OPERA these differences were discussed. While I acknowledge that I employed a "click bait" title to generate interest I maintain that the article itself expresses a very balanced and reasonable point of view.
MEN AND WOMEN ARE DIFFERENT
John McEnroe once referred to Serena Williams as the
greatest female tennis player of all time. He was then asked why he needed to
stipulate that she was the greatest female player and not just the
greatest player? He replied that if women and men
competed against each other Serena would not rank inside the top 700. McEnroe was 100% correct. Serena has had years to prove this claim false but is incapable of doing so.
Serena and Venus once claimed that they could beat any man ranked outside
200. They were both then destroyed by then 203
ranked player Karsten Braasch who easily disposed of them back to back. Since
this dose of reality the sisters have lost their
appetite for competing with men.
During her championship reign, claims were made that Ronda Rousey could defeat male UFC fighters, claims which she did not deny. Retired fighter Tank Abbott called her out. Abbott challenged Rousey to a fight saying that if she won he would give her $100,000 USD but if he won she would have to make him a sandwich. The fight never took place due to the fact that Rousey had more sense than the Williams sisters.
The mechanics of a woman playing tennis are no different to that of a man. The serve, forehand
and backhand are from a mechanical perspective performed in the same way. The
mechanics of how a woman fights are no different
to a man. Punching, kicking and wrestling are from a mechanical
perspective performed in the same way.
Despite this there are undeniable discrepancies
between the performance markers of men and women which are attributable to their respective biological
differences. Progressive ideology can attempt
to deny these differences all it likes but the fact is that these differences
are real, which is why women cannot compete against men in open competition. In relation to singing opera these differences are one hundred times greater
because unlike fighting and tennis the mechanics employed by the two different sexes are not the same. A Heldentenor and a Verdian baritone are required
to carry a heavy mechanism all the way to the highest regions of their voices. Women by contrast only use a heavy mechanism in the very
lowest part of their voices. Because of the biological and mechanical
differences, women have no idea what it feels like to sing with a heavy mechanism in
the upper range. My article explained this phenomenon in simple terms so
that it could be understood by a layperson. There was no misogynistic elements
within the narrative of the piece which only highlighted a truth not commonly
discussed due to the threat of cancel culture, a threat which recent events
have proven to be very real. It was stated in the original article that
teachers connected to academia and opera houses would not be permitted to
express these views without losing their jobs which is
why they need to come from someone like myself who is free
of such affiliations.
As expected, the self-evident truths expressed within the
article were too much for many of the progressive readers to confront. This predictably led to a crusade of virtue signalling and censorship. When reviewing the
attempted refutations offered by these SJWs it's immediately clear that their
argumentation has no basis of logic, emanating instead from a sense of
political obligation. While this form of blind argumentation may be considered
virtuous it does not help in substantiating a position which has an untenable
basis.
In order to highlight how untenable this progressive position is I will now be more blunt by issuing an open challenge.
THE LOGGIONE CHALLENGE
I invite these
progressives to give an example of one
woman who can carry her chest voice all the way to a sustained high C and cover
it as a man does. If this is done, the article I
wrote will be removed and replaced with a public statement acknowledging
that I was wrong. In addition to this I will gladly follow Abbott’s precedent and pay $100,000 USD to the victor.
However, if within thirty days no example can be given perhaps we could finally consider this issue a settled matter. This would allow society to intelligently revisit the question of how viable it is for a man to take singing lessons from a woman, considering that he must cultivate his upper range in a heavy mechanism, something which she has never experienced and cannot demonstrate.
RULES
1) The sound must be a full chest
engagement which is covered at the secondo passaggio and taken to a sustained high C
2) The
Loggione Challenge is only open to biological females.
Singers belonging to progressive androgynous sub
fachs need not apply.
